SAN LUIS OBISPO, Calif. — The Mountain Pacific Sports Federation (MPSF) announced the 2025 MPSF Men's Rowing All-Conference Team today, which includes UC San Diego's Sebastian Navarro receiving the postseason accolade.
 
Navarro was a member of the varsity eight crew that finished fifth at last weekend's MPSF Championship, a result that secured a bid to the IRA National Championship for the Tritons. The junior has been in the varsity eight boat for all five of the team's competitions this season. A native of San Diego, Navarro is studying political science at Muir College.
 
UC San Diego is one of the inaugural men's rowing members in the MPSF, with the conference announcing in December that it would sponsor the sport for the first time. The Tritons are joined in the conference by California, Gonzaga, Oregon State, San Diego, Santa Clara, Stanford and Washington.
 
Division I collegiate men's rowing is governed by the Intercollegiate Rowing Association (IRA). The IRA National Championship is May 30-June 1 on the Cooper River in Camden, N.J.
