LA JOLLA, Calif. – UC San Diego Athletics is in the midst of its second season of the Between Two Zooms video series. In season two, fans get the opportunity to hear from scholar-athletes and members of the Triton community.
Today's edition features junior Spencer Daily of the swimming and diving team. Daily won the 50-freestyle at the NCAA Championships, becoming the first NCAA Champion for the swim and dive program since 2014. His time of 19.58 broke one of the oldest school records at UC San Diego in addition to a pool record at the SPIRE Institute. The Danville native chats with Ted Mendenhall about the Division I transition, swimming for UC San Diego and how he's stayed active during COVID-19.
