LA JOLLA, Calif. – UC San Diego Athletics is in the midst of its second season of the Between Two Zooms video series. In season two, fans get the opportunity to hear from scholar-athletes and members of the Triton community.
Today's edition features
Gabe Avillion, a redshirt junior middle blocker on the men's volleyball team. The Pennsylvania native is a human biology major in UC San Diego's Marshall College. During the 2020-21 academic year, Avillion will serve as president of the Triton Athletes' Council (TAC), UC San Diego's student-athlete advisory committee. He sat down with ESPN play-by-play broadcaster Miles Himmel to discuss the team's historic 2020 campaign, his role with TAC, and the upcoming 2021 season.
