LA JOLLA, Calif. – UC San Diego Athletics is in the midst of its second season of the Between Two Zooms video series. In season two, fans get the opportunity to hear from scholar-athletes and members of the Triton community.

Today's edition features Tyrell Roberts, a redshirt junior guard on the men's basketball team. The Sacramento native is an All-America on the court and a CoSIDA Academic All-District honoree in the classroom, majoring in communications at UC San Diego's Muir College. Roberts was the conference player of the year and tournament MVP a season ago. He sat down with ESPN play-by-play broadcaster Steve Quis to discuss the team's historic 2019-20 campaign, social injustice, and the team's move to the Big West and NCAA Division I.
