LA JOLLA, Calif. - The UC San Diego men's tennis team hosted Western New Mexico University on Thursday afternoon earning a win by sweeping all three double and six singles matches. The Tritons won the three doubles matches with Kazumi Negishi and Erik Elliott taking the top spot, Chapman Chan and Armaun Emami winning at No.2 and Vincent Nguyen and Brandon Stevenson winning the third spot on the doubles ladder.
All six singles matches were won in two games; with Negishi winning the top spot, Nguyen winning at No. 2, Dixit victorious at No.3, Chan winning at four, Jake Fellow taking the fifth spot and Samuel Ling winning at the sixth spot on the singles ladder. The win improves the Tritons record to 6-7.The Tritons are back in action on Friday, March 27 when they face Dartmouth in La Jolla at 12:00 p.m.
