LA JOLLA, Calif. — UC San Diego (9-15) was defeated by Hawai'i (10-9) with a final score of 1-4 on Sunday at the Northview Tennis Courts. The Tritons secured the doubles point with victories at No. 1 and No. 3, but Hawaii swept the singles matches to claim the overall win.

UC San Diego secured the doubles point with decisive performances on two courts.
Yaron Guberman and
Oliver Worth triumphed at No. 3 doubles with a 6-3 victory. The No. 1 doubles team of
Abhinav Chunduru and
Trevor Nguyen clinched the point with a 7-6(0) win.
Andrew Beceiro and
Prathinav Chunduru's match at No. 2 doubles ended 1-6.

Oliver Worth fell at No. 1 singles, 2-6, 0-6, leveling the dual score at 1-1.
Trevor Nguyen was next at No. 3 singles, finishing 1-6, 1-6.
David Adamson's match at No. 6 singles ended 3-6, 2-6, increasing the opponent's lead to 3-1.

Adriano Dzhenev's victory over
Abhinav Chunduru at No. 4 singles, concluded 6-3, 6-2, clinched the dual match for the opponent. The remaining singles matches were left unfinished, with
Prathinav Chunduru at No. 2 singles and
Yaron Guberman at No. 5 singles both still on court. The Tritons ultimately fell with a final score of 4-1.
