POMONA, Calif. ? The UC San Diego men's tennis team defeated Cal Poly Pomona 6-3 on Wednesday afternoon in Pomona. The Tritons earned two of three doubles points as Kazumi Negishi and Erik Elliott won at the No. 1 doubles spot while Vincent Nguyen and Brandon Stevenson won at No. 2 doubles. Nguyen, Naveen Dixit, Jake Fellow and Samuel Ling won their singles matches for the win. UCSD improves to 5-7 on the year. The Tritons are back in action on Thursday, March 26 when it hosts Western New Mexico at 2:00 p.m.
