QUOTABLE
"We are thrilled to welcome Cedrik to the Triton family and to bring Matt back for his third season with the program," Interim Head Coach
Jake De Vries states.
Â
"Cedrik brings as wide of a professional and international tennis experience as we could hope to have within our program. We are incredibly fortunate that his first major work as a coach will be with us here at UC San Diego. He brings incredible strategic and technical knowledge of the game, and he has the temperament to coach our guys to the next level as we prepare to move to the West Coast Conference."
Â
De Vries continues, "in Matt's two years here, he has connected incredibly well with our team, and they have grown to trust him as a coach and mentor on and off the court. Matt's strong work ethic and success as a collegiate player has shaped him into an excellent young coach and an amazing role model for our players."
