LA JOLLA, Calif. — UC San Diego will serve as the host venue for one of six ITA Summer Masters Series Tournaments this summer, with a men's singles tournament scheduled for July 26-28 at the Tritons'
Northview Tennis Courts. Registration is open and available

The 32-player draw has a total purse of $1,500 for those reaching the quarterfinals or better, with the tournament champion taking home $500. The four semifinalists will earn an automatic bid and travel stipend for the ITA National Summer Championships.
The ITA Summer Master Series is designed by the Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) to allow current and former college athletes, along with high-level juniors, the opportunity to have competitive match play over the summer.
Draws are flighted based on a player's World Tennis Number. In addition to the single-elimination main draw, UC San Diego's tournament will have a number of consolation and additional extra matches.
The ITA National Summer Championships will be hosted by the University of Memphis from August 9-12. The event features a $20,000 purse and wild card opportunities for both the ITA All-American Championships and the USTA pro level.
UC San Diego previously hosted a women's Master Series event June 21-23. Incoming Triton freshman Olivia Allegre reached the final of that competition.
