TEMPE, Ariz. — The Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) named Triton men's tennis a 2025 ITA All-Academic Team today, along with recognizing four individuals as ITA Scholar-Athletes.
Sanjith Devineni,
Zach Pellouchoud,
Joseph Teh and
Diogo Tinoco claimed the individual honors.
For ITA All-Academic Team status, the team must have a combined grade point average of 3.2 or above for the 2024-25 academic year. Individuals are eligible for ITA Scholar-Athlete status if they have a grade point average of 3.5 or above for the 2024-25 academic year.
The Tritons finished the year with a team GPA of 3.20. Teh had the highest individual GPA at 3.80, followed by Pellouchoud (3.78), Devineni (3.70) and Tinoco (3.68).
Devineni recently graduated from UC San Diego with a bachelor's degree in computer science. A native of Boca Raton, Florida, Devineni was also named to The Big West Commissioner's Honor Roll (Highest Honors).
Pellouchoud just completed his junior season, majoring in cognitive science. A native of San Diego, Pellouchoud was an All-Big West Second Team selection in doubles. He was also named to The Big West Commissioner's Honor Roll (Highest Honors), Big West Spring Academic All-Conference Team and CSC Academic All-District Men's Tennis Team.
Teh is a graduate student working on a degree in computer science after graduating from UC San Diego with a bachelor's degree in the same field in 2024. A native of San Jose, California, Teh was also named to The Big West Commissioner's Honor Roll (Highest Honors).
Tinoco recently graduated from UC San Diego with a bachelor's degree in international studies – international business. A native of Recife, Brazil, Tinoco was an All-Big West Honorable Mention selection in singles and a Second Team selection in doubles. He was also named to The Big West Commissioner's Honor Roll (With Honors) and Big West Spring Academic All-Conference Team.
