CAMDEN, N.J. — Triton men's rowing finished three days of racing at the IRA National Championship on Sunday with the varsity eight boat in the D final and the second varsity eight boat in the C final.
First varsity's race times improved as the weekend progressed, while second varsity maintained consistency across all three races. The Tritons finished the regatta 23rd in varsity eight and 18th in second varsity eight.
Racing began on Friday with four heats in each classification. Those races sent the Tritons to the CD semifinals on Saturday, where first varsity finished fifth and second varsity finished third. The regatta then culminated with finals on Sunday. First varsity was once again fifth in its race, with second varsity coming home in sixth.

About UC San Diego Athletics
