REDWOOD SHORES, Calif. — UC San Diego's three boats had a combined nine races in two days at the Redwood Shores Invitational, hosted by Stanford. The V8+ boat won a race with Drexel and the JV8+ boat bested Santa Clara.
Stanford's Redwood Shores course sees races begin in Belmont Channel and end in the Redwood Shores Lagoon. The Tritons will return to the course for another invitational April 5-6.
UC San Diego took on five different schools: Cal, Drexel, Oregon State, Santa Clara and Stanford. All of the schools except Drexel are inaugural men's rowing members of the Mountain Pacific Sports Federation with UC San Diego.
