FEDERAL WAY, Wash. – UC San Diego's swimmer, Chloe Braun will head to Washington to compete at the 44th annual NCAA Division I Women's Swim and Dive Championship. Braun will compete on Friday, March 21 in the 100 yard breaststroke and on Saturday, March 22 in the 200 yard breaststroke.

At the Big West Conference Swim and Dive Championships, Chloe Braun went to the podium three times in the 200 medley relay, 100 breast, and 200 breast. The junior set the UC San Diego program record and Big West meet record in the 100 breast with a time of 59.14 which earned her a spot at the NCAA Championships. Her time in the 200 breast at the conference championships qualified her for an invited cut to the event at Federal Way.

In the record books, the French national holds two individual records in the 50 breast and 100 breast. She holds the record in the 200 medley relay as well as the 400 medley relay swimming the breast stroke led in each. All four records were set in the 2025 by the junior.

This is the first season that UC San Diego is eligible for any postseason competition since completing their four-year transition and Chloe Braun will be the first Triton athlete to compete at an NCAA Division I Championship in a non-open division sport.
