TEMPE, Ariz. — Triton men's tennis is back on the road this week as they visit the campus of Arizona State for the ITA Southwest Regional Championship. Matches begin on Thursday, Oct. 16, and conclude next Tuesday, Oct. 21, at the Kiwanis Tennis Center.
 
The tournament serves as one of the primary qualifiers for the NCAA Singles and Doubles Championships, which runs Nov. 18-23 in Orlando.
 
Schools from Arizona, California and Hawai'i will be competing. The Tritons will be represented by David Adamson, Abhinav Chunduru, Prathinav Chunduru and Yaron Guberman.
 
Adamson and Abhinav Chunduru will be in the main singles draw. Adamson begins in the round of 64 against UC Riverside's Noris Nedelcovici, while Chunduru will start in the round of 32 versus Grand Canyon's Andres Loizas.
 
Doubles draws are forthcoming. Adamson and Abhinav Chunduru will be playing together, as will Prathinav Chunduru and Yaron Guberman.
 
UP NEXT
The Tritons will close out the fall portion of their schedule Nov. 6-10. The majority of the team will be at home at the Triton Invitational, while some will visit Berkeley for the ITA West Sectional Championship.
