Men's Rowing Releases 2024 Spring Schedule

LA JOLLA, Calif. – UC San Diego head men's rowing coach Peter Simeone has announced the Tritons' 2024 spring schedule. The Tritons will look forward to a strong slate of events with four races scheduled and the potential for more on the horizon.

After a good start to the fall when the team competed at the San Diego Fall Classic, the Tritons will begin their spring season during the first weekend in March as the team will compete at the Lake Las Vegas Invitational on both March 2 and 3.

Following that race, the Tritons will begin a busy April in Southern California as they will take on a whole host of Division I and II programs for the San Diego Crew Classic on April 4 and 5 at Fiesta Bay-Crown Point Shores. UC San Diego will return to the water two weeks later in their one home race of the season for the UC San Diego Invitational down in Chula Vista on April 20 and 21.

Wrapping up the team's slate, the Tritons will head north to Folsom as they will prepare to race at the 2024 Western Sprints at Lake Natoma.

UC San Diego's men's rowing schedule is subject to change, and any updates will be provided through the team's website and social media channels.

Last season, the Tritons wrapped up their 2023 campaign with an appearance at the IRA National Championship Regatta in New Jersey, where UC San Diego's Varsity 8 won their final race in the 120th edition of the event. It was a strong way to end the season for a team that also put together strong team performances at the 2023 Western Sprints and racing in Chula Vista at the UC San Diego Invitational.
