LA JOLLA, Calif. – The UC San Diego men's tennis team closes out its fall season on Friday, when the Tritons take part in the San Diego Veterans Tennis Classic. Action runs through Sunday at the Hogan West Tennis Stadium in San Diego.
WHEN: Friday-Sunday, Nov. 5-7
WHERE: at Hogan West Tennis Stadium, University of San Diego,
WHO PARTICIPATES? The University of San Diego, The United States Naval Academy, San Diego State University, and UC San Diego.
FORMAT: Round robin with all the universities competing against one another with an overall champion based on the match scores.

COACH WILLINGS'S TAKE: "My expectations for the team are to enjoy the moment and event and remind them there are things out there bigger than sport and appreciate the opportunity we have in playing at a great University host USD with friendly competition with neighboring local Universities and colleges. This cause is close to home for me with friends and family who have served or serving. I feel like it is something to be mindful on an daily basis for those who have served. There will be current service members, Veterans, Gold Star family members in attendance this weekend so I hope they enjoy the event."

About UC San Diego Athletics
After two decades as one of the most successful programs in NCAA Division II, the UC San Diego intercollegiate athletics program began a new era in 2020 as a member of the Big West Conference in NCAA Division I.
