Ball State started the evening by capturing the doubles point, and continued to rack up points in singles. The highlight of the match for the Tritons was
Zach Ermert's win on the sixth court. After falling in the first set, 4-6, Ermert battled back, 6-4, 6-4 to put the Tritons on the scoreboard.
