RIVERSIDE, Calif. — The No. 15 University of California San Diego men's tennis team concluded its exhibition schedule with a road victory over UC Riverside, 4-3, on Saturday afternoon.

The dual match began with UC San Diego taking the doubles point, as the Tritons No. 2 duo of seniors Eric Tseng and Justin Zhang defeated Filip Engstrom and Kyle McCann, 6-3, before UCSD's No. 1 team of sophomores Sreeganesh Manoharan and Marc Isaia topped Benjamin Kilchherr and Vignesh Subramanyan, 7-5.

With the doubles point already clinched, the Tritons No. 3 unit of freshmen Neil Tengbumroong and Eskil Jarlskog fell in a tiebreaker to Anderson Ju and Nabil Abdallah, 7-6 (7-5).

UC San Diego quickly took control of singles play to seal the dual-match victory over UC Riverside (2-3).

Zhang defeated Kilchherr in the No. 2 slot, 6-0, 6-1, while Tseng knocked off Pawel Jankowiak in straight sets, 6-0, 6-4, in No. 1 singles.

Isaia secured the dual-match victory with a win over McCann in No. 3 singles, 6-2, 4-6, 6-2.

With the final result already determined, Jarlskog fell to Abdallah in the No. 4 slot, 1-6, 7-5, 7-6 (6-1), junior Richard Han dropped his No. 5 singles match to Gilbert Chung in three sets, 6-1, 5-7, 7-6 (6-3), while Tengbumroong lost his match in No. 6 singles, 6-7 (3-6), 6-4, 10-6.
