Sean Greer pitched 1.1 innings of work allowing two runs, while Eric Abraham and Daniel Simmons finished off the game.
CSUEB's John Volk (0-4) took the loss, and the Pioneers left 14 runners on base, while the Tritons left 10 runners on base.
UCSD took a commanding 9-1 lead in the top of the sixth, but CSUEB scored four times in the bottom half of the inning to come back within 9-5. UCSD would push across three runs in the seventh which proved to be too much as UCSD cruised to the 12-7 win.
