LA JOLLA, Calif. – UC San Diego Director of Athletics
Andy Fee announced the hiring of
Epiphany Clark as Deputy Athletic Director, Chief of Staff on Thursday. Clark joins the Tritons following stints at Michigan State, Central Washington, Georgia, and Baylor. At UC San Diego, she will oversee the daily operation of the athletics department.
"I am thrilled to welcome

"As we continue to grow as an organization and prepare for our move to the West Coast Conference, her proven expertise in managing complex organizations will serve us well. In today's rapidly evolving college athletics landscape, Epiphany's experience in revenue generation will help us expand and grow the Triton Athletic Fund."
Clark comes to La Jolla after spending nearly eight years at Michigan State. In East Lansing, she also served as sport administrator for several sport programs, including women's basketball. She began at Michigan State as Associate Director of Development, working with the Spartan Fund. Clark later served as Assistant AD for Sport Administration and was elevated to Chief of Staff in 2021.
Before working at Michigan State, Clark worked at Central Washington from 2015-2017 and for the Georgia Bulldog Club at the University of Georgia in 2014-15. Clark's professional career began at Baylor University, where she was a Special Assistant to the President.
Clark earned her bachelor's in psychology and a master's degree in sport management from Baylor.
"I am deeply grateful to Athletic Director
Andy Fee and the entire UC San Diego Athletics team for the opportunity to join such an exceptional department at an exciting point in its growth," Clark said. "There is something truly special happening at UC San Diego: a bold vision, people-centered culture, and a deep commitment to innovation and excellence. I am honored to contribute to the continued rise of Triton Athletics!"
UC San Diego is in its final season competing in The Big West and will transition its primary affiliation to the West Coast Conference in July.
"My family and I are also thrilled to join the Triton community," Clark added. "We look forward to putting down roots in San Diego, building meaningful relationships, and becoming part of all that makes UC San Diego such a special place. We are truly grateful for the warm welcome and excited to begin this next chapter. Go Tritons!"
