"I am deeply grateful to Athletic Director Andy Fee and the entire UC San Diego Athletics team for the opportunity to join such an exceptional department at an exciting point in its growth," Clark said. "There is something truly special happening at UC San Diego: a bold vision, people-centered culture, and a deep commitment to innovation and excellence. I am honored to contribute to the continued rise of Triton Athletics!"
UC San Diego is in its final season competing in The Big West and will transition its primary affiliation to the West Coast Conference in July.
"My family and I are also thrilled to join the Triton community," Clark added. "We look forward to putting down roots in San Diego, building meaningful relationships, and becoming part of all that makes UC San Diego such a special place. We are truly grateful for the warm welcome and excited to begin this next chapter. Go Tritons!"
