LA JOLLA, Calif. – UC San Diego swim teams were both selected by the College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association (CSCAA) as one of the 709 teams from 414 different institutions named to the CSCAA Fall Scholar All-America list for their outstanding academic standing in the Fall 2025 semester.
 
To qualify for this prestigious recognition, teams had to earn a cumulative grade point average of 3.0 during the Fall 2025 semester.

Samantha Barany, Executive Director of the CSCAA, praised the outstanding achievements, stating, "The academic commitment demonstrated by these teams is exceptional. These student-athletes continue to set a standard for excellence by succeeding at the highest level both in the pool and in the classroom, and the CSCAA is proud to recognize their dedication and achievement."
 
The Triton women were represented on the list with a team average of 3.46 GPA and the Triton men earned their spot on the list achieving a 3.28 team average.
 
This is the sixth fall in a row that both Triton squads have earned spring academic honors from the national organization.
 
Founded in 1922, the College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) is the nation's first organization of college coaches.
