LA JOLLA, Calif. – The UC San Diego Tritons women's tennis team begins fall play next week when the Tritons host The Big West Fall Selection Event for the first time. The 10-team event will feature 64 singles players from Big West rosters, and 32 doubles participants. Action will take place over four days across the UC San Diego campus. Real-time results will be available via the links below on the ITA website and draws will be published on Oct. 1.

SCHEDULE
Thursday, 9 a.m.: RD 32 main doubles, RD 16 main Doubles, RD 64 main Singles
Friday, 8 a.m.: RD 32 main singles, RD 16 main singles plus extra match doubles and singles
Saturday, 8 a.m.: Quarterfinals main doubles, Quarter and semifinals main singles plus extra match doubles and singles
Sunday, 9 a.m.: Semifinals and final main doubles, finals main singles plus extra match doubles and singles
 
SCORING
Main draw Singles (single elimination): Two out of three tiebreaker sets
Extra singles: Two sets, 10-point tiebreaker in lieu of third set
 
Main draw doubles (single elimination): Eight-game game pro set (tiebreaker at 7); Finals: Two sets, 10-point tiebreaker in lieu of third set
Extra doubles matches: Regular set
