TEMPE, Ariz. – Ten UC San Diego women's tennis scholar-athletes have been named Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) Scholar-Athletes for excelling in the classroom. The organization announced its 2024-25 honorees Monday morning.

Katelyn Vu represent the Tritons. UC San Diego is also a recipient of the 2024-25 ITA All-Academic Team award. UC San Diego tied CSUN for the most honorees amongst Big West institutions.
The ITA All-Academic Team award recognizes programs that completed the 2024-25 academic year with a team grade point average (GPA) of 3.2 or higher. To be named an ITA Scholar-Athlete, nominees must have a grade point average of 3.5 or higher for the current academic year.
The ITA's academic awards include honorees from all levels of college men's and women's tennis.
1,462 Division I women's student-athletes were named an ITA Scholar-Athlete, and 222 women's tennis programs were awarded the All-Academic Team distinction.
