CHULA VISTA, Calif. – Back in action for the second time this month, the UC San Diego men's rowing team put together a stellar weekend of racing as they hosted the 2024 UC San Diego Invitational this weekend.
The Tritons fielded four boats this weekend as they raced against quality competition across both days under tremendous racing conditions in Southern California.
In total, the UC San Diego boats competed in 11 total races which included: four first and second place finishes as well as a trio of third place finishes as well.
UC San Diego's Varsity 8+ boat earned three first place victories in their heats this weekend, with a best time of 5:51.70 in their last race on Sunday.
