LA JOLLA, Calif. – UC San Diego swim teams had 24 scholar-athletes named to the Mountain Pacific Sports Federation Men's and Women's All-Academic teams as announced by conference Executive Director, Foti Mellis.

To earn the award the scholar-athletes were required to meet the following criteria:
1. 3.00 or better cumulative grade point average.
2. Student-Athlete must be at least a sophomore academically.
3. Student-Athlete must have completed one full academic year at the institution prior to the season for which the award is received.
4. Student-Athlete must have competed in at least 50 percent of the team's competition in the season for which the award is received.

About UC San Diego Athletics
After two decades as one of the most successful programs in NCAA Division II, the UC San Diego intercollegiate athletics program began a new era in 2020 as a member of The Big West in NCAA Division I. The 23-sport Tritons earned 30 team and nearly 150 individual national championships during its time in Divisions II and III and helped guide 1,400 scholar-athletes to All-America honors. A total of 84 Tritons have earned Academic All-America honors, while 38 have earned prestigious NCAA Post Graduate Scholarships.
