SAN DIEGO – UC San Diego women's tennis continued fall play, with eight Tritons taking part in the San Diego State Fall Classic over the weekend at the Aztec Tennis Center.

In singles action, junior
Cincy Chen was a winner Friday, topping Eastern Washington's Sara Vasic, 6-0, 6-3. On Saturday, senior
Kelly Leung also topped Vasic, 6-3, 6-2. On Sunday, Chen bested EWU's Zoe Pradel, 7-6 (8-6), 2-6, 11-9. Also that morning, senior
Adriana Tabares beat Colorado State's Sarah Weekly, 6-4, 6-0, and newcomer
Kamya Nair topped Vasic, 6-4, 7-5.
In the doubles draw, senior
Katelyn Vu and freshman
Allison Lian teamed to beat Pradel and Leandra Nizetic from EWU, 7-5.
UC San Diego concludes its fall schedule at the Wildcat Invite in Tucson, with action beginning Nov. 14.
