SAN DIEGO, Calif. – Beginning their 2023-24 season with an all-around team performance, the UC San Diego men's rowing program was in action down at Mission Bay as they competed at the San Diego Fall Classic on Sunday morning.
Sending four boats in to action while competing in two separate races, the Tritons were able to come away with the first-place finish in the men's open eight plus event. Leading UC San Diego to the top of the podium was
Tommy Morehouse who served as the coxswain, with
Sebastian Navarro helping set the tone serving as the stroke.
In the four plus races to wrap up the day, UC San Diego was able to turn in third and fifth place finishes respectively competing about 15 minutes south of campus.
