LA JOLLA, Calif.—UC San Diego women's rowing will officially begin its spring season this weekend when the Tritons travel to the Hornet Invitational hosted by Sacramento State on Lake Natoma.
Participating teams include UC San Diego, Kansas State, Sacramento State and Saint Mary's. On Saturday, the Tritons will compete against Saint Mary's in the morning and Sacramento State in the afternoon. UC San Diego will wrap up the weekend against Kansas State on Sunday morning.
The Tritons will send two boats to compete in the women's eights and two boats in the women's fours.
Natasha Vallancey will stroke the varsity eight, followed by

Annica Ford,
Sarah Proctor,
Hailey Caldwell-Meurer,
Natalie Norstad and
Juni Kim at cox.
In the second eight,
Bianca Tung will cox, with

Kyra Allen,
Jade Vasquez and
Lily Feagler.
Laurel Feldner will cox the varsity four, with
Genevieve Cassidy,
Clara Raedeker,
Peyton Fisk and
Megan Myre.
The second four will be
Laura Kemble,
Audra Lawler,
Bella Venegas and
Kaelin Davis with
Samantha Chan at cox.
