The UC San Diego men's golf team is set to open its 2022 competition slate at the Orange County Collegiate Classic. The two-day, 54-hole tournament runs Feb. 7-8 at the Coto de Caza Golf & Racquet Club.
It will be the fifth event of the Tritons' 2021-22 schedule.
The last time UC San Diego competed was Oct. 25-26 at the Hoakalei Country Club Invitational in Hawaii, where the team finished 12th of 15.

ON THE MOVE
After 20 seasons playing as an NCAA Division II team, the entire athletics program has begun a four-year transition to NCAA Division I, culminating in full DI status as a member of the Big West Conference for the 2024-25 academic year. At that time, all sports will be eligible for conference and NCAA postseason play.
