LAST TIME OUT
The Tritons last competed on Jan. 29 at the Lancer Joust hosted by California Baptist, winning both of their contests, 17-10 against Biola (1-3 record) 10-5 against Pomona Pitzer (1-2 record). Goalkeeper
Lexi Stahl stood out with 13 saves across the two matches, her first two starts of the season. "We planned to make sure we got a lot of minutes for as many people as we could to see who was improving and who still needed time," said UC San Diego head coach
Brad Kreutzkamp on seeing more of the roster get into the games today. "We did want to just give [
Bennett Bugelli] a rest to see what Lexi [Stahl] could do and she played great in the cage in the second game."

Coach Kreutzkamp also changed his standing in the record books last weekend by collecting his 246
th career win, moving him to the top spot all-time with the Tritons. "It's a bit surreal getting that record, I'm not sure it's set in yet," said coach Kreutzkamp. "Looking back at all the athletes that have come and gone it's mind blowing, but every single one of them had a hand in this. Having two amazing associate head coaches in Jenna Williamson and
Nicki Davidson was critical and I can't thank them enough."
"It's simply mind blowing to be on any list with [
Denny Harper]. As the father of women's water polo here at UCSD, I hope he's proud that one of his assistant coaches was the one to catch him. I've learned so much from him and it's pretty cool to be with him on this list now."
