LA JOLLA, Calif. - Fifteen members of the UC San Diego women's water polo team have earned All-Academic recognition from the Association of Collegiate Water Polo Coaches (ACWPC).
The honorees are grouped into one of three groups depending on GPA - Outstanding (4.0-3.71), Superior (3.70-3.41), and Excellent (3.40-3.20). Five Tritons merited Outstanding honors, eight are members of the Superior group, and two garnered Excellent level accolades.Â

The Tritons finished their 2026 campaign with an 11-13 record and a 3-4 mark in Big West match-ups.Â

After two decades as one of the most successful programs in NCAA Division II, the UC San Diego intercollegiate athletics program began a new era in 2020 as a member of The Big West in NCAA Division I. The 23-sport Tritons earned 30 team and nearly 150 individual national championships during its time in Divisions II and III and helped guide 1,400 scholar-athletes to All-America honors.
