Signing Day: Women's Water Polo Signs Five for Class of 2026

LA JOLLA, Calif. – The UC San Diego women's water polo program has announced five high school standout scholar-athletes have signed National Letters of Intent to join the team as freshmen for the 2022-23 academic year. Allison Bartholomew, Natalie DiMeo, Maja Leyden, Sofia Munatones, and Sydney Munatones have committed to join the Tritons to make up the Class of 2026.

"This is always an exciting time of the year when we get our freshman recruit commits," said 13th-year UC San Diego head coach Brad Kreutzkamp.  "After over a year of evaluations, communications and official visits, we are very excited about this class.  It's a great mixture of size, speed and experience.  We feel this class will be able to step in right away and challenge for playing time as well as being productive students here on campus.  With our continued desire to bring home a Big West championship we need depth and talent, and we feel this class helps in both those categories.  Welcome to UCSD!"
