LA JOLLA, Calif. - The 17th-ranked UC San Diego women's soccer team played to a 0-0 draw in double overtime with visiting Cal State San Bernardino on Tuesday night at Triton Soccer Field. The tie pushes the Tritons' record to 12-2-2 overall and 9-2-2 in California Collegiate Athletic Association play while the Coyotes' record goes to 8-8-4 overall and 4-8-2 in league action.

Despite out-shooting the Coyotes by a 21-5 margin, including a 14-1 differential after the first half, the Tritons could not find the back of the net. CSUSB netminder Shawna-Rei Kam made eight saves after coming in to replace Leslie Rhodes to begin the second half. Kam notched six saves in the second half and one each in the two overtime periods.

UC San Diego netminder Jessica McGovern made two saves on the night as the stingy Triton defense played well again on Tuesday evening.

Natasha Belak-Berger took a match-high five shots for the Tritons, three of which were on frame. Senior Caitlin Ryan added four shots, only one of which was on goal.

Krista Feer took two of CSUSB's five shots on the night and accounted for half of the team's two shots on goal. Ashley Haagsma only shot on the evening was the Coyotes' other shot on frame.

With the tie, UCSD concludes CCAA play with 29 points, the most in the CCAA South Division for the 8th-straight season. The Tritons will be the No. 2 seed in this weekend's CCAA Soccer Tournament, facing No. 3 seed Cal State L.A. in the first semifinal match on Friday at 11 a.m.

No. 1 seed Chico State will face 4th-seeded CSUDH in the other semifinal on Friday at 1:30 p.m.All of the matches in this weekend's championship tournament will be played at Toro Soccer Stadium on the campus of Cal State Dominguez Hills in Carson, Calif.
