LA JOLLA, Calif. – Six Tritons have earned accolades for their hard work both in the classroom and on the pitch. Seniors

Kat Harris, and redshirt freshman
Ava Tibor were all named to the Academic All-District Team as announced by College Sports Communicators (CSC) on Tuesday. All six will now move on to the CSC Academic All-America® ballot. Lin, Luo. and Park are all repeat honorees, recognized after both the 2023 and 2024 seasons as well.
Talisa Lin (Golden, Colo.) maintains a 3.86 grade point average as an anthropology major. The defender started all 18 matches in which she played, logging the full 90 minutes in each. She scored a goal in the Tritons' win at UC Davis.
Allie Luo (San Diego, Calif.) is a human biology major and holds a 3.80 cumulative GPA. Luo started every match of her Triton career, scoring a goal as a junior.
Lindsey Park (Torrance, Calif.) is a business economics major who maintains a 3.57 cumulative GPA. Park was a regular starter in the midfield, scoring seven career goals and adding four assists.
Alexis Nguyen (Stevenson Ranch, Calif.) maintains a 3.92 grade point average as a human biology major. The midfielder started all 19 matches, scoring the game-winning goal in a UC San Diego win over then-first place UC Santa Barbara.
Kat Harris (Torrance, Calif.) is a structural engineering major and holds a 3.69 cumulative GPA. Harris started all 13 matches she played in the backfield before suffering a season-ending injury.
Ava Tibor (Woodland Hills, Calif.) is a business economics major who maintains a 3.52 cumulative GPA. Playing her first year on the pitch, Tibor was the team's leading scorer and was named Big West Freshman of the Year.
The 2025 Academic All-District® Men's and Women's Soccer Teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the field and in the classroom. The CSC Academic All-America® program separately recognizes soccer honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA — for each gender.
To be eligible, student-athletes must hold a 3.50 cumulative grade point average and must have played in 90% of the team's matches. Freshmen are not eligible for consideration.
The Tritons earned a result in seven of their final eight Big West matches and posted five clean sheets against Big West opposition.
