LA JOLLA, Calif.—UC San Diego women's volleyball has released the full 2026 schedule, as announced by first-year head coach Spencer McLachlin.
 
The 2026 season is set to begin in the Bay Area at the Gael Bear Classic, Aug. 28-30. The Tritons will face Saint Mary's in the season opener (Aug. 28) and travel to Cal (Aug. 29), before wrapping up the weekend in a neutral matchup in Berkeley against Gonzaga (Aug. 30). 
 
UC San Diego will play 11 non-conference matches on the road, spread across four different tournaments before beginning Big West play at home in LionTree Arena on Sept. 25. The conference slate will feature 18 matches between the Big West's expanded 12-team membership, including newcomers California Baptist, Sacramento State and Utah Valley. The Big West will maintain its Friday/Saturday competition format throughout the season.
 
Continuing non-conference play, the Tritons will travel to Honolulu for the Outrigger Invitational, Sept. 3-6. UC San Diego will face Loyola Marymount (Sept. 3) and Utah Tech (Sept. 4) in a pair of neutral contests, before taking on the host Hawai'i (Sept. 6). 
 
In the third week of non-conference play, the Tritons will travel to the Southwest for the Borderland Classic, Sept. 11-13. UC San Diego will take on co-host New Mexico State (Sept. 11) in La Cruces, N.M. before playing the next two matches in El Paso, Texas. The Tritons will first take on co-host UTEP (Sept. 12) and wrap up the weekend with a neutral contest against Pacific (Sept. 13).
 
UC San Diego will wrap up the non-conference slate in Las Vegas with the Rebel Challenge, taking on Southeastern Louisiana (Sept. 19) in a neural match and facing host UNLV (Sept. 20).
 
In their final season as a Big West member institution, the Tritons will open their home schedule with the start of conference play, hosting Cal State Fullerton (Sept. 25) and Long Beach State (Sept. 26). 
 
UC San Diego will travel for a pair of matches in Riverside, taking on newcomer California Baptist (Oct. 1) and UC Riverside (Oct. 3). The Tritons will return home in week seven to play host to another pair of conference newcomers, Sacramento State (Oct. 9) and Utah Valley (Oct. 10). 
 
In week eight, UC San Diego will travel to take on CSUN (Oct. 16) and Cal State Bakersfield (Oct. 17). At the midpoint of the conference slate, the Tritons will play a home-and-home weekend against UC Irvine, hosting the Anteaters on Oct. 23 and playing at Irvine on Oct. 24. 
 
The month of October will wrap up in La Jolla with the Tritons hosting UC Santa Barbara (Oct. 30) and Cal Poly (Oct. 31). 
 
UC San Diego will make its first road trip to Orem, Utah to take on Utah Valley (Nov. 5) and travel to Sacramento State (Nov. 7) the same weekend. The Tritons' home schedule will conclude with Cal State Bakersfield (Nov. 13) and Senior Night against CSUN (Nov. 14). 
 
The regular season will conclude on the road with Long Beach State (Nov. 20) and Cal State Fullerton (Nov. 21). The Big West Championship is set for Nov. 25 through Nov. 27, hosted on Cal Poly's campus in San Luis Obispo, Calif.
