RICHMOND, Va. — The Coastal Athletic Association (CAA) announced today the honorees on the spring 2025 CAA Commissioner's Academic Honor Roll. UC San Diego's lone CAA program, women's rowing, has 40 scholar-athletes receiving recognition.
The conference honors student-athletes for three different levels of achievement. Those with a 4.0 grade point average are recognized as High Honors with Distinction. Student-athletes with a GPA between 3.7 and 4.0 are recognized as High Honors. Student-athletes with a GPA between 3.0 and 3.7 are recognized as Honors.
Student-athletes on the Commissioner's Academic Honor Roll must have participated in a CAA-sponsored sport, attained a minimum grade point average of 3.0 during the designated academic term and been enrolled as a full-time student.
The Tritons have 10 rowers earning High Honors with Distinction, 10 earning High Honors and 20 with Honors recognition. The program previously placed a total of 36 scholar-athletes on this season's
Fall Academic Honor Roll.

After two decades as one of the most successful programs in NCAA Division II, the UC San Diego intercollegiate athletics program began a new era in 2020 as a member of The Big West in NCAA Division I. The 24-sport Tritons earned 30 team and nearly 150 individual national championships during its time in Divisions II and III and helped guide 1,400 scholar-athletes to All-America honors.
