DAVIS, Calif. – UC Davis (13-28) defeated UC San Diego (10-25) 12-4 on Saturday at La Rue Field, highlighted by a six-run fourth inning.
The Tritons have an overall record of 10-25 and a conference record of 8-10 in the Big West Conference. UC Davis holds an overall record of 13-28 and a conference record of 7-11 in the same conference.
Elise Nishimura stood out for the Tritons, scoring two runs and hitting a double, contributing to her team's efforts.
Haley Garcia showcased her offensive skills by securing one hit and one RBI, alongside a sacrifice hit.
Alexis Jimenez contributed an RBI despite not recording a hit, demonstrating her ability to drive in runs during clutch situations.
Alexa DeMarse made her presence felt on the field with three assists and added to the offensive tally with one hit and one run.
