ATHERTON, Calif. – UC San Diego hit a season-high .551 en route to a sweep at Menlo Friday.
Set scores from Haynes-Prim Pavilion were 25-18, 28-26, and 25-16.
With the win, the Tritons improved to 11-4 on the season.
HOW IT HAPPENEDÂ
Collectively, UC San Diego had 48 kills and just five errors in 78 attack attempts.
Four players accounted for 43Â of UC San Diego's 48 kills.
Anthony Cherfan led with 14 and
Josh Schellinger also had a double-digit with 12.
Leo Pravednikov followed with nine and
Peter Selcho had eight.
Selcho hit .727 with the eight kills and zero errors in 11 swings. Cherfan compiled a .650 attack with his 14 kills and one error in 20 attempts.Â
Setter
Bryce Dvorak finished with 39 assists on the team's 48 kills.
On defense, Cherfan led all players with six digs. Pravednikov and Selcho each had three blocks.
For the Oaks, Mustafa Selçuk Uyar had 12 kills.
Menlo hit .234 with 32 kills and 14 errors in 77 attempts.Â
