ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. – UC San Diego indoor track and field wrapped their three-meet season on Friday and Saturday at the Don Kirby Elite Invitational hosted by New Mexico. The Tritons set a program record on each side with
Feyi Olukanni breaking the indoor weight throw record and
Miles Bennett setting a new indoor program record in high jump.

DAY ONE
The Tritons had a strong first day with multiple personal bests and two school records. In the 200m,
Brandon Orlow (21.74 PB),
Kian Maher (21.60), and Franky McGowan (22.2) performed well. On the women's side,
Brionna Dickens (24.92 PB),
Jordyn Thomas (24.96 PB), and
Idara Ibekwe (24.75) had solid races. In the 400m,
Amari Jenkins set a PB of 55.83, while
Rachel Aguilar ran 56.53.

In the field,
Feyi Olukanni broke the indoor school record in the weight throw (49'11), and Julia DiSilvestri set a PB of 12'10 ¾ in the pole vault.
Miles Bennett finished 8th in the high jump with a school record of 6'8, while
Makena Bailey placed 10th at 5'5 ¾.

DAY TWO
The Tritons had a solid second day with more personal bests.
Amari Jenkins ran a PB of 8.89 in the 60m hurdles, while
Idara Ibekwe set a PB of 7.64 in the 60m.
Brandon Orlow and
Anthony Flowers remained consistent in the 60m. In the field events,
Feyi Olukanni delivered a steady performance in the shot put, and
Cesar Salazar had a huge PB of 16.83m in the men's shot put.
