UC San Diego will host nine matches at Northview Tennis Courts

LA JOLLA, Calif. – UC San Diego head coach Sebastian Bader has announced the Tritons' 2026 women's tennis schedule. The challenging spring slate features 22 matches – nine of which will take place at Northview Tennis Courts on the UC San Diego campus.

The sixth season of Division I spring competition begins for UC San Diego on Jan. 14 when the Tritons travel eight miles to visit USD. The Tritons' home opener will be Jan. 29 against Point Loma before the team heads right back on the road for the next three: at San Diego State (Jan. 31), at Pomona-Pitzer (Feb. 7) and at Fresno State (Feb. 8).

Four of UC San Diego's next six matches will be at home including the Big West opener vs. Hawai'i (Feb. 14), Cal State Fullerton (Feb. 28), Cal Poly (March 7), and Dartmouth (March 22). The Tritons will be on the road for conference tests at Long Beach State (Feb. 20) and UC Riverside (March 4).

"We have many new faces on our roster and know that The Big West will present a challenge each time we step out on the court," Bader explained. "We will have to bring our best effort every day in practice to put ourselves in the best position to compete. I am confident that we'll make progress and be ready to go come the Big West tournament."

The Big West Championship will take place April 22-25 at Barnes Tennis Center in San Diego.
