MALIBU, Calif. – UC San Diego Tritons traveled to Malibu, Calif. to face Pepperdine and UC Santa Barbara on Saturday, Nov. 15th. In their first road meet the men faced UC Santa Barbara, topping them 145 to 117. On the women's side against Pepperdine and UC Santa Barbara they dominated 201 to 93 and 156 to 106 points, respectively.
The Tritons topped 20 events across the 28 event meet. The men's and women's side each earned 10 first place finishes individually.
WOMEN'S HIGHLIGHTS
Tritons swept the 200 Backstroke with
Addison Everage leading (1:58.69),
Eva Boehlke in second (1:59.48), and
Sydney Niles third (1:59.62). Junior
Asia Kozan had a strong performance, one of her swims breaking the UC San Diego school record in the 200 Butterfly, a time of 1:57.10, earning herself a second-place finish. She placed first in the 400 IM (4:14.58), outpacing her competition by almost 4 seconds, the 400 Medley Relay with UCSD A (59.86 split), and second in the 200 Freestyle Relay with UCSD A (22.68).

Hunter Cehelnik contributed to the men's side with three first place finishes and one second place. Cehelnik claimed the 200 Freestyle (1:37.79), 100 Freestyle (43.90), and 200 Freestyle Relay (19.78 split). He finished second with UCSD A in the 400 Medley relay (25.31, 20.81 split).

The Tritons will travel to St. George, Utah for the Trailblazer Invite. The meet will consist of four days of competition, beginning on Wednesday, Nov. 19th and concluding on Saturday, November 22nd.
