LA JOLLA, CALIF. – UC San Diego Senior Chloe Braun captures the Big West Women's Swimmer of the Week award, as announced by the conference on Tuesday, Nov. 11th.
At the women's meet against Big West foe UC Davis on Friday, Nov. 7th Chloe Braun clinched three first place finishes, outpacing her competition in the 100 Breaststroke (59.82), and swimming under the automatic qualifying time for the NCAA Division I Championships. She also placed first with her 200 Breaststroke (2:13.72) and in the 200 Medley Relay with a 27.29 split (1:39.98), all aiding the Tritons dominant win. Braun also swam the second fastest time in the 100 Butterfly (55.83).
Braun is the second Triton to be recognized on the women's side so far this season, joining Asia Kozan who won the award on Oct. 21. This is the second weekly award of her career. Braun was last honored on Jan. 7, 2025.

The Tritons will travel to Malibu, Calif. to face Pepperdine on Saturday, Nov. 15th. This will be UC San Diego's first away meet of the season; it is set to begin at 12 p.m.
