Triton Fencing Starts Alumni Advisory Board

LA JOLLA, Calif. — UC San Diego fencing head coach Juan Ignacio Calderon has announced the creation of an Alumni Advisory Board for the program. The board and its members will provide support and connection for both current scholar-athletes and alumni.

"The creation of the UC San Diego Fencing Alumni Advisory Board marks an exciting new chapter in our program," Calderon said. "This is a chance to strengthen our bonds with the alumni community and ensure their voices and experiences help shape our future."

The board's mission is to advise, connect and grow the broader alumni-athlete community while supporting the fencing program and its scholar-athletes. Composed of three men and three women, board members will serve for three-to-four years.
