LA JOLLA, Calif. – UC San Diego head swim coach
Marko Djordjevic announces the 2024-25 Triton schedule on Monday afternoon. Facing several notable teams, the gold and blue will host Cal, UCLA, and Wisconsin throughout the season.
Â
The Tritons will host five meets at Canyonview Aquatic Center on the La Jolla campus.
Â
"I am excited for a great season," Djordjevic said. "As always we have exciting and competitive dual meet schedule against programs from ACC and BIG10 conferences to push us throughout the season."
Â
Getting the season started with back-to-back meets, the Tritons will host northern foe, Cal on Oct. 11 and 12. Following Cal, the gold and blue will host Clairemont-Mudd Scripps for their annual dual meet on Oct. 19.
Â
"We are excited that swimming and diving returns to Big West Conference," Djordjevic added. "With championships hosted in Houston, it will be a great championship atmosphere and pool of competition."
Â
UC San Diego joins the Big West along with Seattle U, Grand Canyon, University of San Diego (W), Cal Poly, Cal State Bakersfield, Hawai'i, UC Davis (W), and UC Santa Barbara. On Oct. 26, the Triton women will kick off conference competition on the road against the Aggie women of UC Davis.

Â
Traveling to Houston, Texas in February, UC San Diego will compete at the 2025 Big West Swim Championships from Feb. 12-15.
