PULLMAN, WASH. - Opening its 2024-25 Tuesday, the UC San Diego men's golf team is in 11th at the Palouse Collegiate.
Kyle Dougherty is the top Triton after two rounds, sitting in a nine-way tie for 11th place among the 90-player field.
Washington State University is hosting the 15-team tournament at Palouse Ridge Golf Club.
The third and final round is set for a 7:45 a.m. shotgun shot Wednesday. Action can be followed with
live scoring.
HOW IT HAPPENED
UC San Diego is seven under par, shooting one under in the first round and five under in the second.
Utah leads the field at 35 under and is followed by Colorado (-26) and Washington State (-16).
Dougherty turned in a strong second round that moved him up 27 spots on the leader board. He shot a one under 70 in the first round and a four under 67 in the second.
