KANSAS CITY, Mo. — After a great year in the classroom, UC San Diego men's soccer program earned the United Soccer Coaches College Team Academic Award for 2023-24. Announced on Thursday by the organization, the Tritons compiled a 3.30 grade point average (GPA) over the 2023-24 school year.
A total of 405 soccer teams (168 men, 237 women) posted a team grade point average of 3.0 or higher, thereby earning the United Soccer Coaches Team Academic Award for the 2023-24 academic year. UC San Diego is one of 102 schools to have both its men's and women's programs recognized.

The Triton men open the 2024 season on Thursday, Aug. 22 in La Jolla at Triton Soccer Stadium vs. Santa Clara University.
