EL MACERO, Calif. -Â Two Tritons placed in the top-20 through the first two days competing at the El Macero Classic this weekend in Northern California.
UC Davis hosted the 54-hole, 18-team tournament at El Macero Country Club.
It was the best finish for the Tritons in three appearances at the tourney.
UC San Diego enters Sunday's final day of competition tied for fifth place alongside Cal Baptist at 24 strokes over par.
The Tritons have shot 600 overall as a team, with a score of 301 in the first rounds and 299 in the second round.
In the 104-player field,
Davis McDowell is tied for third place while
Nathan Tseng is tied for 10
th place.
Justin Gill came in tied for 30
th place and
Francis Catalano is tied for 70
th place.

Rounding out the Tritons lineup is
Davis Lee who is currently tied for 95
th place in the tournament standings.
Saint Mary's currently holds the lead for the weekend as they have a total team score of 593 good for +17 through two days. CSU Northridge and San Diego currently sit at second and third place respectively.
CSU Northridge's Felix Schrott and GCU's Tommaso Zorzetto currently are tied for first place through the first two days of competition at even par.
