UNIVERSITY PLACE, Wash. -Â The UC San Diego men's golf team is 12th of 18 teams following two rounds of play at the Redhawk Invitational Monday in Washington.
The two-day, 54-hole event is hosted by Seattle University at Chambers Bay Golf Course on the Puget Sound.
The Tritons are 14-over par with a 582 after shooting rounds of 287 and 295 on the par-72, 6,993-yard course.
Individually,
Francis Catalano is the top Triton thus far, sitting in a tie for 28th with a 145, three-over par.
Oregon State leads the field with a 557, 11-under. Idaho (-8) is second and Seattle U (-2) is third. Those are the only teams under par after the two rounds.
Oregon State's Jackson Lake is in front after firing round of 65 and 68 for a nine-under 133.
The Tritons' low round was a 70 (-2), shot by Catalano in the first round.
