STANFORD, Calif. – UC San Diego track and field wrapped two days of competition at the Stanford Invitational hosted by the Cardinal. Eight new all-time marks were made along with
Zeno Castiglioni breaking his second program record of the season. The women's 4x400m relay team of
Lauren Schiele,
Jordyn Thomas,
Kate MacNaughton, and
Maxine Schultz came within tenths of a second to setting a new record.

DAY ONE
Maxine Schultz led on the women's side with two new all-time races in the 400m dash and 200m dash. Moving to No. 3 all-time in both events, Schultz took fourth place in each event running 54.86 in the 400m and 24.12 in the 200m. In the women's 3000 steeplechase,
Norah Dulaney placed 11th with a personal best time of 10:53.96. Finishing 12th in her section,
Sylvana Northrop ran a 17:11.31 in the 5K. At the Mike Fanelli Track Classic,
Jordyn Thomas ran a season best, 57.14, in the 400m dash for fourth place.

Zeno Castiglioni led the way on the men's side breaking the 3000m steeplechase record with a time of 8:55.52 to finish fourth in his section.
Anthony Flowers moved onto the 100m dash all-time list with a time of 10.71 for an 11th place finish. In the 200m dash, Flowers finished eighth with a time of 21.62. Â

DAY TWO
Leading the women's side at the Stanford Invitational,
Tamara Aimufia finished fifth in the triple jump with a personal best jumping 12.32m. Finishing seventh overall,
Lauren Schiele,
Jordyn Thomas,
Kate MacNaughton, and
Maxine Schultz ran a 3:42.41 nearly breaking the school record. At the Mike Fanelli Track Classic,
Alexandra Farfaras and
Gabriella Lopez both threw personal best marks in the hammer throw.
Isabelle Shepherd moved into the No. 4 all-time position running a 2:11.06 to finish first in her section and sixth overall.

On the men's side at the Mike Fanelli Track Classic,
Kai Dettman ran a 1:50.55 in 800m to move into the No. 2 position all-time. Shane Babcock ran a personal record in the same event with a time of 1:52.
